Directions to the Health Sciences Library
The entrance to the Health Sciences Library (E005) is on the E Level of the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) near the bank of passenger elevators and directly across from the Bookstore entrance.
Please note: The main entrance doors to the CARE/Crawley Building and the Medical Sciences Building are accessible via card access ONLY from 7 PM to 6 AM, Sunday through Thursday, and 5 PM to 8 AM, Friday through Saturday. With questions on how to access the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library after the building doors close, please call campus security at 558-1111.
From West Campus:
- Exit the shuttle in front of the Eden Garage on Eden Avenue.
- Cross the street and climb the stairs and enter the Center for Academic Research Excellence (CARE) building.
- Inside the entrance is the atrium that is between the CARE building and the Medical Sciences Building (MSB).
- On the left is the HSL computer lab seen through the glass wall and on the right a seating area plus a study "hut".
- Walk between the two and the entrance to the library will be on the left before you reach the bank of red brick passenger elevators on the right. The UC Bookstore entrance is directly across from the HSL entrance.
- Enter the Medical Center Campus by traveling north on Eden Avenue. Just past Goodman Avenue, turn left into the Eden Avenue Garage.
- Park and either exit the garage to Eden Avenue or go to the 5th floor of the garage.
- If you exit the garage, cross Eden Avenue, climb the stairs and enter the Center for Academic Research Excellence (CARE) building. There is an atrium between the CARE building and the Medical Sciences Building (MSB). On the left the HSL computer lab is seen through the glass wall and on the right you'll see a seating area plus a study "hut". Walk between the two and the entrance to the library will be on the left before you reach the bank of red brick passenger elevators on the right.
- If you go to the 5th floor of the garage, use the elevator located on the east side of the parking garage. The pedestrian bridge is on the 5th floor near the elevator. Walk across the pedestrian bridge into the Academic Health Center complex.
