Checking out books and other resources
At the DAAP Library, you can check out books and media. For UC Libraries circulation info and policies, please click here.
Students and faculty may walk in and ask for help, or email Elizabeth Meyer, to schedule a one-on-one or group research consultation. We encourage all of our users to also consult with us. We are here to help you!
The DAAP Library has a Mac lab equipped with 14 machines. Eight of the Macs have 11x17 Epson scanners, two of these have transparency capability, and one Mac has a high-resolution Nikon slide and negative scanner. All of the DAAP Library Macs are equipped with the full Microsoft Office and Adobe suites for research, writing, and high-level art + design work. Every four years the computers are replaced by the IT department that serves UC Libraries; this department is also responsible for software updates and troubleshooting.
Our Mac lab has black and white, and color printing access (8.5x11 only) via the Wepa print station. Upload your document to the Wepa print cloud (Google drive, Office 365, Box, etc.).
Login on the Wepa print station with your bearcat card, and print your document.
