Resources for UCBA Faculty and Staff

UCBA faculty and staff have access to a wide range of support, services, and resources. 

The UCBA Library stacks are open for browsing and available materals can be requested through OhioLINK and other UC Libraries locations for pick-up at the UCBA Library. Request materials not available at the UC Libraries or OhioLINK via Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad). Search for ebooks, articles, media, and more from the UC Libraries search box.  

Course Reserves
Provide course materials for short-term borrowing.

eResources
Find curricular materials to support your courses via our Guide to Electronic Resources including streaming media, ebooks, Open Educational Resources (OER), and problem solving tips for common access issues.

Purchase Recommendations
Suggest materials for the library collection. 

Assignment Design
We collaborate in designing research assignments that reinforce critical thinking and effective research abilities as well as recommend methods and suggest ideas and approaches to crafting an effective and meaningful research assignment and/or learning activity.

Consultations
Our consultations (via Teams) provide support for research (e.g. classroom-based, creative, discipline-specific) and teaching (e.g. assignment design, incorporation into Canvas, information literacy content). 

Digital Scholarship
Learn about the Digital Scholarship Center, applications for teaching, share your research and scholarly work via Scholar@UC repository, and find out about UC Press.

Research Support 
Contact your library faculty liaison for virtual research support (e.g. publications, presentations, projects).

Faculty Research Guide is a starting point for discipline-based, creative, and classroom-based research. For Research & Data Services, contact your library faculty liaison for referrals to a specific librarian or informationist at the Uptown campus.

Teaching Support 
Our Information Literacy & Instruction Program supports teaching in a range of ways including student workshops, online content, tutorials, modules, and research guides that can be incorporated into Canvas.  

Workshops & Events
These are offered in collaboration with the Faculty Development Committee and the Learning & Teaching Center. The annual Faculty Research Lightning Talks event showcases UCBA faculty research. Refer to Workshops & Events for more information.
