Welcome to Ask the Libraries, the Chat Reference Service for UC Libraries.
When Chat is available, you can connect directly with a UC Librarian or staff member.
Chat Hours:
- During fall and spring semesters, chat is available:
- Monday-Friday: 9am - 5pm.
- Saturday and Sunday - no chat
- During break periods, chat is available Monday through Friday, 10am - 3pm.
- Chat Service is unavailable when the libraries are closed for holidays or breaks.
