Alex Temple
Alex Temple is the Reference Services Coordinator at the Archives and Rare Books Library (ARB) for the University of Cincinnati. He is responsible for responding to reference inquiries and coordinating research appointments and ARB’s reading room. He also serves as ARB’s student worker supervisor.
Alex received his MLIS from Kent State in 2017. He has worked as a library assistant at the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library, a project archivist at the Winkler Center for History of the Health Professions as well as at ARB, and has been bench-trained in book and paper preservation at the University of Cincinnati Preservation Lab.
He has served with several community groups and nonprofits, including P.A.R. Projects, the Cincinnati Preservation Collective (President), and the Cincinnati Area Health Sciences Library Association (President).
