Resources
Key Information
- The new system will go-live on June 25, 2025.
- Library collections are not changing.
- Links to library resources will break and need to be updated. Learn more in the CECH Knowledge Base.
Requesting Items during the Migration
Beginning June 10th at 5pm UC Libraries systems will be offline to support the system migration. We hope to have item requesting capabilities accessible to users restored the week of June 25th.
To request CECH Library items during this time, including Professional Education materials, please email cechlibrary@uc.edu from your UC email account:
- your desired pickup location
- your phone number
and one of the following:
- The catalog permalink to the item, located at the bottom of the item's catalog webpage,
- The title, author and publication year of the item, or
- The ISBN of the item
Library staff will request materials on your behalf, and you will receive an email once the item is available at your designated pickup location. A Bearcat Card is required to checkout materials during this time.
New Features
- Faster searching – search electronic and print resources in one search.
- Enhanced discovery – explore resources across the OhioLINK network, citation trails, availability in multiple formats, and track requests.
- Personalized features – save preferences, searches, citations and export to citation management systems.
- More intuitive and mobile-friendly user experience.
