With over 4.5 million volumes and access to thousands of electronic resources available 24/7 through our online library catalog, UC Libraries' virtual and physical locations offer resources for everyone. UC Libraries includes the Walter C. Langsam Library, the Archives and Rare Books Library, the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library, and eight college and departmental libraries serving constituents in applied science, architecture, art, biology, chemistry, classics, design, education, engineering, geology, mathematics, music, physics and planning.

Answering questions about bird flu

January 15, 2025

The first reported human death from the bird flu virus in the U.S. came last week in Louisiana. While there is no sign the virus is spreading from person to person, Carl Fichtenbaum, MD, world renowned infectious diseases professor and vice chair for clinical research in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, recently discussed prevention, transmission and preparedness on Cincinnati Edition on WVXU.

Ariel Quartet opens CCM's 2025 ticketed performance series on...

Event: January 28, 2025 7:30 PM

CCM's string quartet in residence, the Ariel Quartet, opens the college's 2025 ticketed performance series at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, in Robert J. Werner Recital Hall. Titled "Europe: From 1903 to 1945" the concert features works by Erwin Schulhoff, Benjamin Britten and Maurice Ravel. Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office.
