With over 4 million volumes and access to thousands of electronic resources available 24/7 through our online library catalog, UC Libraries' virtual and physical spaces offer resources for everyone. UC Libraries includes the Walter C. Langsam Library, the Archives and Rare Books Library, the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library, and eight college and departmental libraries serving constituents in applied science, architecture, art, biology, chemistry, classics, design, education, engineering, geology, mathematics, music, physics and planning.

UC announces official name of Sheakley Indoor Practice Facility...

April 28, 2025

The University of Cincinnati Athletics Department announced on Monday the official naming of the new indoor facilities as the Sheakley Indoor Practice Facility and Sheakley Athletics Performance Center. In appreciation of Larry and Rhonda Sheakley's generous support, the new state-of-the-art facility will bear their family's name.

UC study uncovers unexpected link between police spending,...

April 28, 2025

A first-of-its-kind study on the link between police budgeting and the housing market seemed to be a dead end — showing practically no relation between the spending on law enforcement and home transaction volume and prices, just like previous studies. But University of Cincinnati economics professor David Brasington found surprising results when he split the data between low-income and high-income communities: large, completely opposite moves in housing prices.
