With the launch of the University of Cincinnati Libraries Strategic Plan, 2024-2027, we are increasing our impact by focusing on four Strategic Directions: Enrich Our Collections, Expand Our Impact, Strengthen Our Organization and Support Our Students.

UC Libraries preserves and provides access to special collections and the scholarly and historical record of the university, including archival as well as born-digital content and datasets.

As the intellectual hub for students and faculty, libraries provide a variety of spaces that inspire and promote learning and discovery.

With over 4 million volumes and access to thousands of electronic resources available 24/7 through our online library catalog, UC Libraries' virtual and physical spaces offer resources for everyone. UC Libraries includes the Walter C. Langsam Library, the Archives and Rare Books Library, the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library, and eight college and departmental libraries serving constituents in applied science, architecture, art, biology, chemistry, classics, design, education, engineering, geology, mathematics, music, physics and planning.

Research From Law's Wuerth Cited In Supreme Court Enemy...

June 29, 2004

The work of Ingrid Brunk Wuerth, an associate professor in the UC College of Law, was cited in the opinions released by the U.S. Supreme Court in announcing decisions on three cases involving the issue of enemy combatants. Wuerth's research analyzing historical precedents dating back to the War of 1812 will be published in this year's edition of the Northwestern University Law Review. PROFILE: Grad Student Sandwiches Peace Corps Stint Into His...

Roderick Williams is the first student to take advantage of a program linking UC's graduate planning program and the Peace Corps. Thanks to the program, Rod and his wife are currently living and working in Honduras. After their service term, Rod will return to his studies in the classroom at UC to complete his Master's in Planning, but in the meantime, here's a chance to check on their progress at http://geocities.com/rwdywill
