UC is transitioning to the new VPN software Cisco AnyConnect by March 1, 2019.  AnyConnect will provide the same level of off-campus acess to UC's network as Pulse Secure, while providing greater security.

Both AnyConnect and Pulse Secure will work until March 1, 2019.  After March 1st, only AnyConnect will work.

The following links will help you connect or download the new VPN:

How to Download AnyConnect VPN

Go to vpn.uc.edu to access the UC AnyConnect client application installers.  Once installed, start the VPN client from your computer/device, launch your browser and begin your research. (MacOS - use Chrome or Firefox NOT Safari)

Step-by-step instructions and help with the new UC VPN-AnyConnect can be found at the following link: https://kb.uc.edu/KBArticles/VPN-InstallandUse.aspx.

When to Use: Ideal method for longer research sessions.

(If you are a UC faculty, staff, or currently enrolled student, Secure Access via the VPN is recommended when accessing UC resources from off campus).
