GEOBASE
- multidisciplinary database supplying bibliographic information and abstracts for development studies, the Earth sciences, ecology, geomechanics, human and physical geography, and oceanography. Coverage of 2,000 international journals, including both peer-reviewed titles and trade publications.
- provides access to the geoscience literature of the world. The database indexes geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports, and theses. The GeoRef database covers the geology of North America from 1785 to the present and the geology of the rest of the world from 1933 to the present. The database includes references to all publications of the U.S. Geological Survey. Masters' theses and doctoral dissertations from U.S. and Canadian universities are also covered.

Web of Science (Science Citation Index)

Indexes more than 10,000 journals across 150 scientific disiplines. Coverage dating from 1980.

The entire collection is full-text searchable making it possible to search every word in every article in every journal. Coverage from as early as 1665, with a “moving wall” of 2-5 years – defines the gap between the most recently published issue and the date of the most recent issue available from JSTOR.
