JOURNAL ARTICLES, DATABASES, AND INDEXES |
The process for locating journal articles about African American studies topics differs from using library catalogs to find books. Journal articles must first be identified. Use the databases and indexes to periodical literature like the ones listed in this section to identify articles in journals about African American studies topics. Some of these databases will also provide the full text of the article. Others will provide only a citation. In that case you will have to find out if the article you have identified is available full text in another database, or if it is in a print journal that the library owns. |
