Welcome | Get Connected | Get the Resources You Need | Get Research Help
We know that keeping current with assignments is a goal of all students. But as a student athlete you have complicated practice, travel and game schedules and it is often hard to find the time to get to the Library and collect resources you need for a paper or presentation.
University Libraries is here to help you! We subscribe to lots of resources available electronically and you can access these materials easily from home or on the road. This page highlights ways to keep connected to useful research resources and services while you are on the road, or when you are finished with practice and workouts and hitting the books in the middle of the night.
And remember – your Professors expect you to collect information from academic resources – not just free Internet resources from Google/Yahoo etc… – so follow these three easy steps to successful research. Go Bearcats!!!!
If you live on campus, access to library resources is as easy as inputting www.libraries.uc.edu. The Library web site provides access to thousands of resources literally at your fingertips.
But we know as a student athlete you might need to work on a paper or assignment while you are off campus – on the road or out of town – so you need to be aware of the special steps to take to ensure you connect via our off –campus user page.
This is very important because UC subscribes to many electronic books, magazines, and other resources that are only available to UC students – so connecting via the off campus user page is a must whether you are in your apartment, or in a hotel!
